2009 Christmas : Christmas Day the family converges on Kathy's house for a White Elephant Christmas. There was a great turnout what with Shelly & Dave coming from Los Angeles, Ashley from the road, and Juanita, Justin and Alicia making the trip from Austin. We got the rules a little mixed up maybe, but a good time was had by all. Thanks for having us Kathy.

Tiger at play : On the evening of Dec 23 2009, while preparing Christmas presents, I introduced Tiger Lilly, my new cat, to a peacock feather. She leaped and rolled, romping endlessly with the new toy. My poor little Canon Rebel camera with on-board flash could barely capture a taste of the ecstasy.
